Digital strategist, product innovator and inspirer of new digital experiences, based in London.
Digital product strategist developing and growing digital media products in the UK and internationally, I have a proven track record in creating and launching products used by some of the best global media brands around: The BBC, The Guardian, Haymarket, Hearst Magazine, ESPN to name a few.
Recently, I've been providing digital product consultation services to the likes of Time Inc. UK, Centaur Media, Amnesty International and News UK.
A believer in agile and lean startup principles, I work closely with clients and their users to manage teams that continually iterate to validate and address key assumptions via a build, measure and learn approach, that utlimately delivers value to audiences.
Ben’s insight has proven to be invaluable. He has an incredible ability to get into the mind of the customer and always starts there. Who are they? What motivates them? What is their workflow? What should be prioritised first to move the dial in the customer’s experience of the product and brand?
Although a creative and visionary thinker who’s instincts are usually right, Ben never assumes or relies on instinct alone and always validates his ideas through qualitative and quantitative research. Ben has been able to advise on the full cycle of new product development and product reinvention, from brand positioning and UX, through to internal workflows (around the likes of content management and production), back end systems, internal business cases and stakeholder management.
Ben helped develop product innovation strategies and validation processes for the organisation's top 6 digital brands – Marie Claire, NME, Trusted Reviews, Wallpaper, House To Home and Good To Know.
Ben also provided invaluable advice to Time Inc. UK executive on digital governance and strategies, helping identify and implement KPIs and reporting streams aimed at to increasing revenue growth.
Ben is a very versatile and talented Digital Consultant. His ability to get up to speed rapidly on a client brief and begin delivering value fast was astounding. Ben takes everything in his stride and has an easy going style that helps him build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
Ben’s entrepreneurial background helps him to easily move between big picture thinking and low level details. All FEB clients that Ben led projects on were full of praise for him and seeing the results of his work the praise was well deserved. It was a pleasure working with Ben and he will be a valuable asset for the companies he works with.
